The City of Oakwood is currently accepting applications for the year-round, part-time position of Groundskeeper in the Leisure Services Department. The work schedule is approximately 29 hours/week between the hours of 7:30 a.m. ¡V 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Leisure Services Department provides service-oriented functions for the City of Oakwood.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform functions of mowing, maintaining landscape, painting, pruning, trimming, and planting.
• Maintain parks and natural areas.
• Perform grounds maintenance around the City.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver¡¦s license.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
COMPENSATION:
The current pay range is $14.84/hour to $16.96/hour depending on experience and knowledge, plus other benefits including pro-rated sick leave, vacation and holidays, and enrollment in the pension program.
